Samantha Ancy

Author, Integrative Health & Somatic Practitioner

Samantha Ancy is a South African author and integrative health and somatic practitioner, trained and certified in Fascia Trauma Release, Gut Health, and Nervous System-Led behaviour change. Her work is grounded in lived experience, a deep respect for the body's intelligence, and the understanding that healing does not happen in isolated systems.

She works with the body as a whole, where fascia, the nervous system, digestion, emotional experience, and behaviour continuously influence one another. People often arrive through pain, tension, stress, weight struggles, or feeling disconnected from their bodies. What they are usually dealing with is a system that has been living in survival mode for far too long.

Samantha takes a body-first, integrative approach. Regulation comes before effort. Safety comes before change. Nourishment and gut health support this process from the inside, but they are never treated as standalone fixes. When the nervous system settles and the body begins to trust again, digestion improves, appetite stabilises, energy returns, and weight loss often follows naturally as a result rather than a battle.

Her own transformation did not begin with a diagnosis or a diet. It began in a paddock with a horse who could not regulate his body, reflecting everything she had learned to ignore in her own.

Learning how to create safety for that horse meant learning how to create it for herself.

Through training in equine behaviour, trauma-informed connection, and fascia-based work, Samantha came to understand how deeply life experiences shape stress responses, dietary patterns, and the way people inhabit their bodies. Healing the gut, she realised, is not just about food. It is about feeling safe enough to digest life again.

She teaches practical, somatic tools that help clients communicate with their bodies from a place of compassion rather than control. Many of the people she works with are no longer chasing weight loss, but steadiness, clarity, emotional ease, and a sense of being at home in themselves.

Samantha does not sell quick fixes. She builds frameworks rooted in compassion, biology, and lived experience. Her clients do not just change their bodies. They rebuild trust with them.

The Bio Hijack

Her book, The Bio Hijack, reflects this philosophy. It is a reminder that fatigue, cravings, and stuck patterns are not personal failures, but biological responses shaped by modern life.

Explore The Bio Hijack

She is not a guru. She is a guide who has walked the long road back to her own body.

Whether she is working hands-on with fascia, supporting nervous system regulation, writing, or standing quietly beside a horse relearning safety, her mission remains the same:

Healing begins in the body, and it begins when we finally listen.
